  1,General sheet

   Sheet is a single flat sheets of paper, the specifications of the most commonly used is 787 mm x1092 mm, 850 mm x 1168 mm and 880 mm x1230 mm, 787 mm x1168 mm, 787 mm x960 mm and a variety of specifications.      

  2,The units of the measurement of paper

The measuring units of printing paper:ream, square,piece and ton.

   Ream is a special sheet measurement units, there are a stack of meaning. It is the transliteration of English ream or reams. Regulations in China, 1 is the same to equal the same quantitative and wide flat paper 500. Foreign imports of printing paper with flat with 4 kinds of circumstances, with 400, 480, 500, 480 to1.

   Square is a dedicated unit in our country. That is half of the whole paper. So one ream paper equals to 1000 squares.

   Piece, no strict significance. In quantitative, make different paper, every piece of paper also makes weight different.  

   T is short for metric tons, the international system of units – kilograms (kg) as the basic unit, 1 t = 1000 kg.

The so-called ream weight,means the actual weight of one ream paper.Each ream paper weight can be calculated by the following formula:

   Weight (kg) = quantitative (g/m²) x paper length (m) x  paper width(m) x 500/1000
